When I last left you yesterday I had just ran 6 miles with central Park as well as took pleasure in a NY bagel. From there the day went non-stop up until 1am!

For those of you that Camiseta Gamba Osaka missed it, I was just recently selected to be part of the ING class of 2012. I am one of 4 runners doing the ING new York City Marathon as well as functioning as a representative for the organization. all of us have extremely different running backgrounds / experience levels as well as will be sharing our views as well as ideas on training on the internet over the next few months.

Nutshell: I was in new York Monday as well as Tuesday filming some webisodes. They will be offered soon as well as I’ll keep ya posted.

Okay back to yesterday morning…

I had to report to the Hearst building to be in the background of the yoga scenes Steve was filming.

The Hearst Tower fitness center is great as well as quiet. It’s not extremely big, however the views are HUGE!

I kinda like that the fitness center Camiseta PSV Eindhoven had examples of healthy foods out. focus on what you can eat, not what you shouldn’t.

We shot the yoga scenes in the group physical fitness room. whatever with production takes a long time since the cam team needs to set up the shot, background as well as sound.

When I was done it was about lunch time as well as I grabbed one more iced coffee to fuel me up for the rest of the day. I likewise grabbed one more WF salad considering that I wasn’t sure if I would be eating at the next location.

I did a quick wardrobe modification as well as put on method as well much makeup for the next segment.

Five of my segments focus on food. I am doing a series called “Marathon Meals” where I talk about recipes to take pleasure in while training. We filmed this part in the Redbook test Kitchen.

The recipes are from Redbook as well as the segments have me interviewing Babs Chernitz, food editor for the magazine. It was kinda intimidating at first, however you just have to roll with it!

Plus, the hardest part about it was taking a bite of food as well as then speaking on cam without spitting it all out on the table and/or the editor of a Camiseta Olympique Lyonnais major magazine!

I’ll be sharing the recipes as the segments come out, however right here are some pictures.

I’m kinda consumed with the quinoa meal we did. Delicious.

After those segments were wrapped I had to wait around while the people went to film a scene in central Park. even though I took a few bites of the recipes we made I was HUNGRY. lastly I was able to break into my salad. So glad I believed ahead as well as grabbed something!

A bit later the team as well as people were back as well as we did one a lot more fun beer drinking scene in the test kitchens. Then, it was time to step to the final place – the central Park reservoir.

The path was quite hectic with runners as well as walkers, however we set up camp as well as tried to shoot when there was a space in the crowd.

It was a bit odd since people would sluggish down as well as enjoy us shooting. Then, they would recognize I wasn’t popular as well as walk off disappointed. (Side note: I saw will of will & Grace while I was walking to the building earlier as well as was incredibly excited! They were looking in the wrong location for popular people!)

After my hydration bit I had an apple while we waited for the next set up.

The last few shots were of the four of us running. We went back as well as forth on the path a few times with 3 cameras put at different distances.

And the final shot was our indication off. It was proper that the “Good Luck!” shot was last, however it was likewise sad. all of us worked so carefully together for the last 48 hours I was unfortunate for it to end.

We wrapped about 8:30pm as well as headed back to the hotel for a quick change.  Jen left us at this point so it was just me as well as the people with their SOs.

Then, we headed to 3 Monkeys bar for celebratory drinks! I started with a vodka tonic.

But we likewise got complimentary cards to try the new Malibu Red.

Yes please.

We likewise shared a lot of appetizers. I was incredibly hungry at this point as well as bought the fish tacos as well as wonderful potato puffs as part of the group order.

The fellow ING classmates are NOT food blog writers so it was great to be around different people on this trip. But, they harassed my photo taking a bit

We likewise shared mussles as well as buffalo poultry spring rolls.

I had high really hopes for the gravy smothered fries, however they were just okay.

We lingered for a while speaking over the events of the last two days as well as all the training we have ahead of us. Steve as well as I couldn’t stop speaking running.

Finally the rest of the group shut us up by moving the celebration to a karaoke bar.

I stopped drinking at this point as well as just hung out. lastly I headed back to the hotel around 1am. Solo. The group was still going strong! But, I had a cars and truck coming for me at 5:15am as well as still needed to pack.

I crawled in bed around 2am as well as set my alarm for 5 – the last minute possible. now I’m on the airplane on my method back to SoCal.

The entire experience was totally amazing. I feel so so lucky to have been selected for the ING class of 2012. I want to say thanks to the ING NY Marathon group for letting me be a part of this. I hope I can online as much as the expectations!

I’m ecstatic to train for new York as well as I’m ecstatic to share my point of view with other runners. I’ll talk about training this week. however my laptop is dying as well as I kinda requirement a nap.
