Kern River Inn Bed as well as breakfast – Classic must-do exercise

hi from just outside Sequoia national Park! We stayed at a Bed & breakfast last night – my very first one ever! But, let me back track.

I got a tuna salad from Subway. I would have gotten the sandwich, however they only had that white bread left (and not even the great kind with cheese on top!).

There were likewise road trip snacks! (The finest part of a road trip if you ask me!!)

The Sequoias are about 5-6 hours away from Orange region so we drove for about 3 plus as well as stopped for the night. We stayed at the Kern River Inn Bed & Breakfast. This is my very first time at a B&B – I’ve always wished to stay at one! Is that weird?

We were greeted by the Inn Keeper as well as her cat, Max. He ended up sleeping with us many of the night!

Bed & breakfast locations are so weird, however awesome. It’s like staying at a friend’s house, however that buddy was a complete stranger 5 minutes ago?! Our space was called Whiskey Flats.

We were exhausted as well as went directly to bed (with Max)!

This morning I took photos of the Inn. It’s so cute! Here’s the dining area:

We had a look at the river across the street while waiting on breakfast.

The spread was beautiful. The inn keeper as well as I talked about the blog while I took photos of the food. turns out this is her many “un-healthy” spread out of the usual.

This is a cross between a bread Camiseta Selección de fútbol de Francia pudding as well as French toast casserole with peaches. She doesn’t have an official name for it – can you believe of one??

I got a bit of whatever except the sausage. This is a lemon yogurt muffin…

And her homemade granola!

Now we’re headed to the huge Redwood trees!

Question: name this French toast – Bread Pudding dish… (Today she made it with croissants, ricotta as well as peaches.)

Fun Fact: My trick dream is to open a B&B on the coastline of CA someday ?
